Gold Tip’s Jesse Broadwater wins 7th Consecutive NFAA Field Nationals; named 2012 NFAA Shooter of the Year
Orem, UT – Jesse Broadwater, again, took top honors at the recent NFAA Field Nationals, held 7/25-7/29, in Mechanicsburg, PA. This was Broadwater’s 7th consecutive win at the NFAA Field Nationals. The win also clinched the 2012 Shooter of the Year title for Broadwater, in the Men’s Pro Division.
Broadwater, who was shooting GT’s Ultralight Pro 400 target arrows, dominated the event shooting an amazing 1704 points out of a possible 1708.
“We shoot two field and two hunter rounds taking the highest score from each plus one animal round,” Broadwater said. “On the field and hunter rounds, 112 arrows are shot for score per day. The animal round consists of 28 arrows.”
Taking third place in the event and finishing second for the year overall was GT’s Shooting Staff Manager Tim Gillingham, who actually shot their new Kinetic 300 hunting shafts.
