1st Leg National Triple Crown, IBO Bedford, May 18-20

Bedford, IN, the site of the 1st leg of the National Triple Crown is the first major venue for the International Bowhunters Assoc.. It is a very challenging course and in most years past, it is usually wet. This year, however, we had bluebird weather and Goldtip shooters responded with 1st place finishes in Pro Seniors, Male Bowhunter release, Advanced Hunter, Hunter, and the Cub class being dominated by young Garret Ayersman. Our very own shooting staff coordinator, Tim Gillingham came in second in the Pro Men’s class in his bid to win the Triple Crown and Shooter of the Year titles. “The Ultralight X-cutter’s out of my Mathews Apex is one of the best shooting setups I have ever shot he says.” The 323 FPS doesn’t hurt either. There is not a better arrow on the market for 3-d than the Goldtip Ultralights, whether it is the 600 for the women and youth shooters or the ever popular Series 22 and X-cutter for adult class shooters. Below are some of the results for the weekend. If you want to know why these shooters shoot Goldtip arrows just ask them at the next shoot. My guess is that they will tell you they are the finest shafts money can buy.
